Hello I’m Aimee and I’ve always been fascinated by money.

And since 2016, I have helped business owners modernize their financial operations. And through this work, I’m gonna let you in on a not so big secret… Most business owners don’t start businesses to nerd out on their finances…

Can you believe it?

I have found that people start businesses to create impact, earn more and live life on their terms. And here is some great news…

Business owners can create all the impact, earn all the money, and live full out when they leverage their business financials.

Think uncomplicated, simple, transparent financial processes.

That is what I do.

No matter where you are on your journey, I can help you with:

✦ Free resources like these ARTICLES and sharing tips through PODCAST GUESTING

1:1 BOOKKEEPING & CFO SERVICES (which have created some pretty amazing RESULTS)

✦ What I believe IS the best darn financial literacy program for business owners that includes COURSES, WORKSHOPS, BOOKKEEPING OFFICE HOURS and COACHING.

Now here’s what I believe…

Your self worth is not defined by your bottom line.  Avoiding the business finances will not get you where you want to go - and we both know you are going places. Aligned money decisions happen from a place of choice, and never because we should. You with me? Keep Reading.

M Y S T O R Y

This goes way back to when I was a kid - and somehow intuitively knew money was something worth understanding.

In those days, for funsies I practiced writing checks using my parents' actual checkbook - they didn’t like that too much! I had a wallet with cut coupons and fake cardboard credit cards so I felt more legit.

Fast forward to being 18 and, with my parents' financial situation changing, decided to pay for college myself. I had no clue how I was going to do it, just decided it would happen.

These were the years where plenty of mistakes occurred - think ruining my credit; maxing out credit cards; and either making late or no payments; signing student loan promissory notes not fully comprehending what they actual said, and thinking cash flow meant going to the ATM machine and praying money came out for a weekend of college fun. It was messy.

And yet, I also was a rockstar, elected as student body president and helped shape the college budget (and kept student tuition down), worked 3 jobs to make ends meet and address my credit card mishap, and advocated every year for a larger financial aid package so I could minimize my student loan debt.

I learned when pursuing a money goal, it would be a mix of highs and lows.

I went into corporate and spent 16 years building an abundant career managing, analyzing and executing financial strategies that transformed companies. I learned how to build solid financial foundations so any size business can evolve.

And in 2016, I decided to take everything I know about financial operations and start my own business. I work with business owners seeking financial clarity.  And together we create a business they love, that pays them well so they can live the life of their dreams.

If you haven’t figured it out..I’m far from a stuffy CFO.

And if you are still here - here are 10 random but fun facts about me to convince you that yes! Even finance nerds can have a personality!

  1. I was a competitive swimmer for 12 years. Long distance freestyle, I was your gal. 50 yard sprints, slow as a turtle.

  2. Speaking of turtles, my first tattoo is a turtle. I got it when I was 18. It's a reminder to slow down and remain steady. The tattoo artist told me I would one day get another tattoo. “Highly unlikely,” I said. Fast forward 20 years and I was once again in the chair getting a really cool tattoo of my kids’ initials. My husband came for support. I counted that evening as date night.

  3. My husband, Tom and I have been together for 22 years and married for most of those. I gave birth to three of our kids, and in 2015  we welcomed our fourth and final kid, a furry Goldendoodle called Josie.

  4. With 3 human kids and one furry kid to chase after, I do need some down time. In no particular order, my current favorite shows are: Billions, The Righteous Gemstones, and The Discovery of Witches

  5. Tom and I are HUGE Pearl Jam stalkers fans. I work like a boss to maximize the number of shows we attend during a single tour.

  6. If you’re equally as obsessed with Pearl Jam, please let’s work together. We can do business virtually and then plan our tour stops together – for real!

  7. While Tom is my soulmate, my first love was Luke Skywalker.

  8. So you should know I am a Star Wars fan... Thankfully our kids are too. My son thinks Darth Vader is the bomb.

  9. I’m also an avid reader. Lately I’m reading books on neurodiversity as I recently was diagnosed with ADHD.

  10. That being said, I do love a business book. While Profit First is obviously a must read, my favorite book at the moment is Work Clean. Please add this to your list if you haven’t read it yet!

If you’ve made it this far, we totally have a future together. It’s not just numbers for numbers’ sake with me, it’s what the numbers make possible for you.
